10 ‒20% less intermediate stocks

"We have been working with Phoenix Mecano Solutions AG for many years. Due to the conversion to LEAN Production, we need LEAN compliant workstations on an ongoing basis. Phoenix has designed some of our workstations that have enabled us to consistently meet our internal project goals. For example, picking times have been reduced and assembly lead times have been cut by up to 50%. We are generally more flexible in production and have 10-20% less intermediate stock. From our point of view, what speaks for Phoenix Mecano is that we have a common understanding of LEAN. There is no need to explain how something is to be built, only what ultimately has to be fulfilled. That saves an enormous amount of time. In addition, the process of ordering workstations using a Kistler-specific inquiry form has been optimized to such an extent that customersonly have to spend a few minutes on an order. Previously, a lot of time was spent clarifying workstation accessories with third-party suppliers. With Phoenix, we get everything from a single source. They are very flexible with changes despite a tight project schedule on our part. We will be happy to implement further LEAN workstations with Phoenix Mecano."
